The leading lines in these photos created by the fabric and limbs of your figures are extremely effective! I feel like I had to explore every inch of these photographs when I was viewing them, even though their premise feels extremely simple.
I particularly enjoy the way the two figures melt together in your third photo, as the ambiguity in which part belongs to who creates a very fun mystery for the viewer. I would encourage you to push this concept further, and maybe even incorporate a third person in some shots if possible! I would also enjoy seeing even more dramatic shadows and highlights in these series, similarly to your second and third photos. While your first and last photos are also effective, they feel a little less interesting because of their reduced contrast.

(continuation of my comment because I accidentally submitted it before I was finished) The way in which your figures fill the entire frame together with your use of a large number of lines in many directions creates a sense of tension and chaos. I feel as if your larger subject is about love, loneliness, and difficulties in the relationships between people. I really appreciate the simplicity of your setup, and how it doesn’t take too much attention away from your subject matter! I’m looking forward to seeing how your final pictures turn out!

    Hi Sage!
I am insanely obsessed with your photographs and your subject X. The folds and lines in the fabric are super effective and the shininess of the fabric is also really intriguing. The fabric itself is also really interesting with its beautiful shimmer and reflectiveness it almost looks like the bodies are melting into silver. The first 3 photos do seem to have the folds of the fabric more focused in between the two bodies rather than around them which might be slightly distracting. Maybe try to get the amount of detail in the fabric to be more consistent around the bodies! As a standalone photograph, I really like the last photo, specifically for the the lighting you chose. Even in the series it is interesting how the last photo uses a dimmer light coming from the left but on it’s own, the darker quality adds a sense of mystery and horror. I can’t wait to see where this goes!

Oh my texture!!!! I love the use of fabric in your work, and the the way it folds over the bodies in different ways. Your use of lighting and attention to contrast in each of your images is just so amazing. It almost makes me think of body horror and the concept of fusing two people together, especially because of how you’ve presented them on the blog scrolling down here. I think your attention to the details of both the quality and tactile nature of the fabric as well as the lighting positioning come together perfectly in your photos and I can’t wait to see how it evolves from here! Great work as always!!!
