Hey Abigail, I’m really enjoying how you used blur in your photos. I think it creates a dynamic image. Your first two images are quite dark which does draw me in to look harder at them but I feel that the lighting could be tweaked a bit, adding some more light to the image would make it feel a bit more complete. Your blurry photos on the other hand are so interesting, the use of the slow shutter speed was executed very well. I also enjoy the use of the black background, it allows for the focus to be on the movement of the figure.
Hiii! I think you did a really good job with these photos! I really love the creation of movement with light and I am captivated by the glow that the movement creates. The third photo is my favourite, I love how the movement and blur looks. Seeing the pose and amount of perceived movements, as well as the brightness of the figure against the dark background, I can’t help but feel a sense of anxiety coming from it, or at least very intense emotion. I also love how the fourth photo uses light and movement, and I get more of a lightness from it because of the duller light and less drastic or urgent sense of movement. I think the first two images seem a bit dull and dark, I really enjoy the level of shadow and how aspects of the subject are in complete darkness, completely blending into the background, but I think it might make a greater impact if certain elements stayed more illuminated. This being said, I am not sure of your intended narrative, and the darkness definitely conveys certain emotions that I think could work well. Good jobbb and good luck !!!
